Chapter 18:

It wasn’t but a few days after Bella had moved out that Edward hired a private investigator to follow her. He thought he could catch her with the guy she was seeing when she was living with him. Weeks had passed and still no mystery man. Edward was getting frustrated. Bella didn’t do anything differently then she had when she lived with him. She went to work and then home. Occasionally Alice would show up with her newest boyfriend, or some other couple he didn’t know would show up and stay for a while. It seemed Bella had made a few friends since leaving him. This he was not happy about either, but there was nothing he could do about it. He needed to find something against her or she would take him for everything in a divorce, which he had no intentions on giving her. That is not what his family would want. They were the “till death do you part” type people. They would be embarrassed should he get a divorce. Even worse if it should come out that he was unfaithful.

Months had passed and still Edward could find no fault in Bella or her actions. It wasn’t until he received the divorce papers in the mail did he decide that enough was enough. It was time for Bella to come back home where she belonged.

Edward pulled up outside her work and decided he would follow her home. He watched as Alice, her boyfriend and another man walked into the restaurant where Bella worked. He couldn’t see inside the restaurant so he had no idea if they were there to see Bella or just to get something to eat so he waited. When they all came out they seemed to be smiling and laughing about something. He followed them as they walked back to Bella’s house. He had to admit that she had done well in finding this gem. It would sell easily once he got her to come home. Bella led them all into the house and Edward parked in a spot across the street. He wasn’t sure he should confront her with witnesses there, but she was his wife after all. He hadn’t signed the divorce papers yet, and he had not intentions on doing so.

Half an hour later he had finally worked up the nerve to get out of the car and knock on her door. He could hear their voices and laughter inside. He knocked.

“I’ll get it” came from inside.

When the door opened he expected it to be Bella, however that is not who answered the door. This man was tall and built. He knew him to be Alice’s boyfriend but didn’t know his name.

“What the hell are you doing here?” the man asked.

“I have come to see Bella.”

“Well she doesn’t want to see you now leave.” the man stated.

“James who is at the door?” Edward heard Alice ask as she walked up behind him.

“Edward?” Alice seemed shocked. Then a look of complete loathing and anger crossed her features. “What the hell do you think you’re doing here? She left you, you’re not welcome here. Leave.” She almost growled.

“I have a right to be here. She is still my Wife!” Edward demanded.

“You lost all right to call her that when you started dippin’ your dick into anything that would have you.”

“Including you?” Edward snarled.

“It was a mistake that was rectified. Now leave before Bella finds out your here.” Alice yelled.

“Alice, James who is it?” Bella asked coming round the corner from the kitchen.

Once her eyes locked with Edwards she dropped the glass she was holding and it shattered on the floor. So many emotions flashed across her face that he wasn’t sure how she felt about him being there, until they settled on anger.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing at my home?”

“Bella love, I have come to ask you back. I know I have made many mistakes but can’t you forgive me for being a fool?” he asked all sweetly.

“Mistakes? MISTAKES! You call sleeping with half the nursing staff at the hospital and countless others mistakes?” Bella asked unbelieving.

“Yes love, i have changed. I love you and want you to come home.”

“You got the papers today didn’t you?” Bella eyed him.

“You mean that rubbish you had a lawyer deliver to our home, then yes i received them.”

“Then do us both a favor and sign them and let me get on with my life.”

“You don’t mean that.”

“Oh but i do, and if you step foot on my property again i will call the police and have you removed.” Bella growled.

“Bella darlin’ is everything alright?” the other man from the restaurant appeared and placed a hand on Bella’s lower back.

“Yes, Edward here was just leaving weren’t you Edward?”

“Who is this?” Edward asked.

“This is James’ cousin Jasper. He is up from Texas to visit for the weekend. He wanted to try some of Bella’s famous cooking that i have raved about while he was in town so we went to the restaurant and Bella invited us back for drinks.” Alice answered.

“This is my first time to the city, they were showing me around when we met up with Bella.” Jasper added.

“Well then by all means don’t let me stand in your way. I need to speak with Bella privately about some personal matters so you should all be on your way.” Edward snarked.

“Edward. You will not speak to my guests this way in my home. Now leave before the cops are called. I have nothing more to say to you. If you wish to speak to me, my lawyer’s number is on the divorce papers.” with that Bella slammed the door in his face.

Edward was pissed. How dare she talk to him that way? What have they done to his Bella? She was never so rude. He wasn’t about to give up. This was a fight he would win. He always got what he wanted.

Bella was in tears when they returned to the living room. Alice sat with her on the sofa.

“How could he just show up like that?” Bella sobbed.

“How did he even know where you lived?” Alice asked.

“He must have had her followed.” James’ added.

“That asshole” Alice said.

Jasper came into the room carrying a glass of water and some tissues and handed them to Bella as he took a seat on the other side of her.

“Darlin’ ya gonna be okay?”

“Yes Jasper I’ll be alright.”

“Do you want us to stay the night here in case he comes back?” James asked.

“I couldn’t ask that of you guys.” Bella sniffled.

“Well you didn’t, we asked you.” Alice said.

“You would do that for me?” Bella looked up at them as she asked.

“Of course we would Darlin’ we all care about ya.” Jasper smiled at her.

When she locked eyes with him, that same calm that always coursed through her in her dreams settled on her. She nodded her head.

“I would love it if you stayed. Alice, James your stuff should still be where you left it in the spare room. I’m sorry I don’t have anything for you Jasper.”

“It’s alright Darlin’ my things are in Alice’s car. They didn’t figure on my leaving here once i got here with ya.” Jasper winked at her.

Bella giggled.

“Okay well James and I will go back and get my car. Bella can we park it in the garage so if he comes back he won’t know we are here?” Alice asked.

“Sure here is the remote for the door. Be sure to lock it once you’re in, wouldn’t want him sneaking in. God only knows what he is capable of.” Bella said.

“We’ll be back in a few.”

“Thank you.”

“No need for thanks you would do the same for us.” James added as they walked out the door leaving Bella and Jasper alone for the first time since they met in person.

Jasper pulled her onto his lap.

“Are ya sure ya are okay?”

“Yes I’m fine, now that your here.” she said snuggling into him farther.

“Bella?” Jasper said pulling her chin up so he could look into her eyes.

“Jasper.”

He leaned in and touched his lips gently to hers. She responded in kind. As they pulled apart a sigh escaped both their lips.

“I’m glad you’re here Jasper.”

“So am I darlin’”

“Jasper?”

“Yeah Darlin?”

“You’re staying the whole weekend right?” she blushed slightly.

“If that’s what ya want.”

“Oh it is definitely what I want.” Bella turned herself so she was straddling his waist.

“Darlin’ they will be back soon.”

“And?” Bella said leaving a trail of kisses down his neck.

“We don’t have a lot of time for this…” he was cut off when she popped the button on his pants.

“hhhmmmm” Bella hummed as she slid from his lap to her knees in front of him.

He lifted his hips just enough so she could slide his pants down. She glanced up at him when she realized he was commando underneath.

“What?” he asked breathlessly.

“Jasper you naughty boy.”

“They chaff when i sit for too long and that plane ride was murder.”

“If you say so.” she said as her tongue darted out and licked the tip of his already engorged cock. He hissed slightly at the contact.

“God Bella that is even better in person.”

“eemmmhuumm” she hummed around him.

As she began bobbing her head up and down on him, he threw his head back and moaned. He jumped slightly when she wrapped her fingers around his base and began stroking what didn’t fit inside her mouth. He moaned and whimpered as his body began to tingle all over. The sensations she was sending through his body caused his whole body to shake slightly. When she caressed his balls with the tips of her fingers he sighed her name. Bella began humming slightly. The vibrations caused the coil in Jasper’s stomach to tighten even further.

Bella picked up her pace and began sucking him harder into her mouth.

Bella could tell he was close, his legs stiffened and his muscles jerked. With a soft tug to his sack she felt as his body released. His hot seed flowing into her mouth.

She sucked and licked him clean. Sitting back she smirked at the lust she found staring back at her in his eyes. She climbed up his lap slowly.

“Jasper you need to get dressed they should be back shortly.” Bella said kissing the side of his lips and standing to head to her room to get changed.

Jasper groaned but stood and fixed his jeans.

“That wasn’t nice Darlin’” he called to her.

Her chuckle was the only response that he received.
