Summary: The 2nd story in The Wayne Legacy Series. Six years ago, Bruce Wayne left Gotham City, leaving behind his twin sister, Diana, and their younger sister, Kara. With no word from their brother or any clue to his whereabouts, the two sisters believed him dead and moved on with their lives. Over those years, they turned Wayne Enterprises into a global empire, their star on the Rise to such stature, they were now two of the most powerful and recognizable people in the world. Now, Bruce has returned to begin his mission, one he is sure his sisters will want to join. But his dreams of a crime fighting family are dashed when neither sister wants anything to do with the brother who abandoned them. Saddened by their rejection, Bruce begins to build a life without them, setting out on the mission he had set for himself so long ago: to take back the streets of Gotham from scum like that which killed their parents… a life that would see the Rise of the Batman. But Diana has her own idea of what true power is and put her plans in motion years ago to attain it, some involved ridding Gotham City of the crime that had plagued it for so long.
