Chapter 12:

The rest of the day continued on like normal. Jasper didn’t have any classes with Izzy or Rose. He was still puzzled over the kiss Rose gave him, but shook it off as just another weird part of the day.

When he made it to the parking lot after school he found Rose and Izzy once again giggling as they stood by Emmett’s jeep. He thought that now would be the perfect time for him to meet her without the others around to get in the way. Rose was the first to spot him and smiled at him. Waving him over he picked up his pace.

“Hey Rose.” He called once he was close enough.

“Hey Jasper. This is Izzy. Izzy this is Jasper.” Rose introduced them.

“Hi” Izzy whispered.

Jasper reached his hand out like he was gonna shake her hand only to grasp it softly and bring her hand to his lips and kiss the back of it.

“Pleasure to meet you Izzy”.

Rose smirked as she watched a completely different side of Jasper emerge. Izzy had pegged him perfectly. Jasper was in fact Casanova.

The blush that flushed Izzy face as her eyes connected with Jaspers could been seen from miles away. A clearing throat broke them out of the spell they were in.

“Hey the others are coming.” Rose said.

Izzy and Jasper looked behind them to see the other three of the fabulous five approaching. Izzy got suddenly nervous. The others were almost to them when a horn sounded. It was as if someone was answering her unspoken prayer. It was Charlie. After a quick bye to Jasper and Rose, Izzy disappeared into the passenger seat of Charlie’s truck just as the others reached them.

“Damn we missed her.” Emmett pouted.

“Why is it that none of us had any classes with her?” Edward asked.

“Izzy is in all advanced classes. We had all our classes together.” Rose smiled.

“Smart and beautiful. That’s a deadly combo.” Alice snarked.

“Don’t forget she can play guitar beautifully if we go by what Jasper says. That makes her a triple threat.” Edward added thoughtfully.

“Whoa jealous much?” Rose asked.

“So did Jazz finally get to meet his dream woman?” Emmett asked.

“Only long enough to say hi.” Rose smirked.

Jasper was glad that Rose didn’t out him. He had a reputation to protect after all.

“And?” Alice asked.

“And what? That was it.” Rose said.

“So who was that, that picked her up?” Emmett asked.

“Oh that was her dad. Didn’t you recognize the truck?” Rose asked.

“Not really. But then I don’t often go to the hospital so i guess i wouldn’t know it really well.” Alice said.

Jasper had yet to say anything. He just stood staring off into the direction that Izzy had left in. He knew it was too soon; but he was hooked.
